ISP seeking Kessler

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana State Police are providing an updated photo of the suspect wanted for the alleged assault of Indiana State Police Trooper Ginger Marshall that occurred around 12:22 a.m. Monday on the south side of Indianapolis.

Michael L. Kessler, the named suspect, is a 48-year-old white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, 185 pounds with sandy brown hair. He may or may not still have a goatee or other facial hair.

Persons with information or knowledge of Michael Kessler's location should call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477) to provide anonymous tips.

Michael Kessler is encouraged to voluntarily surrender to any police officer or law enforcement agency.

Anyone who knowingly harbors a wanted fugitive may be arrested for assisting a criminal, which in this case would be a Class "D" Felony.
