The Gift of Life

Cloverdale junior Codey Jacobson and senior Rocky Golden donate blood Thursday during a blood drive sponsored by the student council. The Indiana Blood Center, Terre Haute, was on hand to take blood donations from students and the public. Donating blood takes 30 to 40 minutes from sign up to finish. It only takes 10 minutes to draw the blood and save a life. These two were among 54 students who signed up for the drive.

  • According to the Banner a coaches handbook was also discussed - why is Mr. Berry bent on making sure the coaches have a character section...why not have this to apply to everyone who works with the kids, not just those who coach? Teachers and administrators spend more time with them. Is he trying to get one person or is he protecting those who don't coach?
