Chamber invites newcomers to annual reception

GREENCASTLE -- The Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Millpond Health Campus will host the newest residents of the community at the Annual Newcomer Reception on Oct. 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Millpond Health Campus, located at 1014 Millpond Lane.

Breakfast will be served and Mayor Sue Murray will speak about the community's history, amenities and visions for the future. New residents will then be taken on an enjoyable bus tour of the highlights of the city to inform them and familiarize them with Greencastle's many offerings. Attendees will also receive a "welcome bag" complete with community information, maps, coupons, and gifts from local Chamber of Commerce businesses.

The Chamber is pleased to host this free event each year to not only welcome new residents, but also to give them the opportunity to learn more about their new home, and meet others that are also new to the community. The reception is open and free to all residents who have moved to Greencastle or Putnam County in the past year.
