GHS falls in three

WEST TERRE HAUTE -- The Greencastle High School volleyball team lost to the host Vikings 3-0, 25-22, 25-20, 25-8.

"We are over half way through our season and we are still trying ot find a good combination," GHS Coach Trish Lowe said. "We must become consitent and have a more hard nosed attitude."

Jordyn Lewis led the offense with 10 points on 13-of-14 serving and had two aces while Rayleigh Amis had seven points, one kill and three aces. Hanna Cochran led defensivly with eight blocks, three of which were stuff, and had seven kills, three points and one ace while serving. Braden Amis had six blocks and three kills while Kayla Nobles had three kills on five -for-five serving.

In junior varsity action, the Tiger Cubs won 24-25, 25-14, 15-3.

Greencastle is back in action on Monday when it travels to Terre Haute North for a 6 p.m. match.
