Putnam County Jail

Kenneth Croney, 20, Idalou, Texas, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday for failure to appear.

Charles Wood, 28, Greencastle, was booked at 3:29 p.m. Tuesday for contempt of court.

Jacob Dale, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 5 p.m. Tuesday for battery.

April Brooks, 41, Greencastle, was booked at 5:23 p.m. Tuesday for violation of probation.

Christopher Bolin, 31, Reelsville, was booked t 9:48 a.m. Wednesday for failure to appear.

Putnam County Sheriff's Office

Wilma Brown of Montezuma was traveling on US 40W at 12:26 p.m. Tuesday, when she apparently fell asleep at the wheel. Brown stated she didn't remember running off the road. Putnam County Operation Life transported her to Putnam County Hospital for evaluation.

Seniour's Wrecker Service towed her vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Patricia Whitaker of Greencastle was traveling on US 231N near Fincastle at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday, when her vehicle struck a deer. Mink's Wrecker Service towed her vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 108 Crescent Drive at 12:50 a.m. Saturday for a lift assist. They were back in service at 1:10 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 111 Frazier St. at 4:57 a.m. Saturday for a carbon monoxide investigation and nothing was found. They were back in service at 5:15 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 626 E. Seminary St. at 1:34 p.m. Saturday for a fire alarm due to burnt food. They were back in service at 1:55 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 409 S. Jackson St. at 1:28 a.m. Sunday for a fire alarm. They were disregarded en route and back in service at 1:32 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 418 Anderson St. at 10:48 a.m. Sunday for a fire alarm. They were disregarded before leaving the station and were back in service at 10:50 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 413 S. Locust St. at 5:55 p.m. Sunday for a fire alarm due to cooking. They were back in service at 5:59 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 500 Maple St. at 8:27 p.m. Monday to assist Greencastle Police Department. They were on stand-by and back in service at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Crews were dispatched to 418 Anderson St. at 7:39 p.m. Tuesday for a fire alarm due to burnt food. They were back in service at 7:53 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Little Rock Apartments, 106 Spring St., at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday for a fire alarm. They were disregarded en route and back in service at 6:08 p.m.
