Noland

Albert "Pete" and Mary "Toadie" Noland of Roachdale will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Oct. 3 with a gathering from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Roachdale Christian Church Family Life Center.

Pete and Toadie were married by the Rev. Ray Britton on Oct. 4, 1959 in the home of the bride's parents, Jim and Ada Stewart.

The Nolands are the parents of Gail Powell (Gerald) and Sarah Schubert (Chris), and have six grandchildren.

Pete and Toadie are members of the Roachdale Christian Church. He has been a barber for 63 year; she is retired from Telephone Data Systems.
