Benjamin David Ferris

Benjamin David Ferris, 36, of Fillmore died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at his home.

He was born May 31, 1973 in Indianapolis, the son of David Ferris and Carol McDaniel. He married Heather Nicks in 2008.

He is survived by his wife; parents; sons and daughters Austin Ferris, Lucas Ferris, Dustin Ferris-Best, Brittany Ferris-Best and Heather Ferris-Best; sister Leslie Ferris-O'Sullivan; brother Don Ferris; stepfather Bruce McDaniel; and special friends Charlie and Kathy Erwin.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Ferris and a daughter, Stephanie Ferris.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hays Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Fillmore Cemetery. Calling will be Thursday from11 a.m. until the time of service.
