Willie Lee "Wild Bill" Miller

Willie Lee "Wild Bill" Miller, 66, of Greencastle died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at his residence.

Born March 5, 1943 in Putnam County, he was the son of James Lee and Alpha Smiley Miller.

Mr. Miller was a supervisor at the Putnamville Correctional Facility, retiring in 2004. He was also a bartender at Moore's Bar and Grill for 23 years.

Survivors include three sons, William "Bill" Leroy Miller and wife Sondra, Fredric "Fred" Miller and Clint Franklin Miller, all of Greencastle; seven grandchildren, Mark Miller, PFC Todd Miller, Scott Miller, Pat Ruhlig, Tyler Pettit, Jessica Miller and Cristy Miller; and three great-grandchildren, NeVaeh Miller, McKenzie Miller and Jetta Ruhlig.

His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with the Rev. Hallie Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
