Trick-or-treaters, don't forget to stop downtown

GREENCASTLE -- Downtown Trick-or-Treat, sponsored by Main Street Greencastle, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday with 29 local businesses participating. Children in costumes are invited to "parade" around downtown and collect Halloween goodies from the following businesses or organizations:

* Putnam County Senior Center

* Los Martinez Mexican restaurant

* Murray and Associates, from 4 to 5 p.m.

* Almost Home

* B&B Ink and Toner

* Banner Graphic

* Dave's Heating and Cooling, from 4 to 5 p.m.

* Putnam County Abstract and Title, from 4 to 5 p.m.

* Shuee & Sons

* Horizon Business Center

* Putnam County Youth Development Commission

* Care Net Pregnancy Center

* Royal Title

* Martin's Emporium

* United Way

* Partnership Center

* Putnam County Community Foundation

* Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce

* Putnam County Family Support Services

* Mason Jewelers

* Putnam County Convention and Visitors Bureau

* Old National Bank

* Goodwill

* Chief's South by Southwest

* Bright Futures

* Putnam County Shriners

* Putnam County Public Library

* Fire Department

* First Christian Church

The above locations will have a decorative Halloween bag in the window or on the door to welcome this year's costumed guests. Treats include candy or books.
