Pugsley, a pug owned by Ron and Elizabeth Clodfelter, is set to welcome visitors to his home at 1442 E. CR 175N as part of the Delta Theta Tau sorority 27th annual Holiday Home Tour. The two-story home was built in 1877 and despite being remodeled; it still retains its original woodworking and country charm. The "summer kitchen" was enclosed and transformed into a family room with a cathedral ceiling. Elegant lace curtains are a fitting backdrop for a tree decked out in porcelain doll heads and the entire collection of porcelain dolls. The "family" tree includes ornaments made by their daughter throughout her life and other special pieces. Don't miss the grandfather clock made by Ron and his father or the handmade wooden horse. The tour is from 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 22 and admission is $8 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Almost Home, 17 W. Franklin St.; Treasures on the Square, 2 W. Washington St.; Eitel's Flowers and Gifts, 17 S. Vine St.; Ambler-Hill Florists, 100 W. Washington St.; and Curves, 45 Putnam Plaza. Holiday wreaths decorated and donated by members of the community will be a part of the first holiday home tour silent auction. Wreaths will be on display in the community room on the lower level of First National Bank. Bids may be placed any time during the home tour with the highest bid to be determined at 5 p.m. Cookies, punch and coffee will be served.
