Food drive at PCH

Wednesday, December 2, 2009
Putnam County Hospital kicks off its second annual food drive with a goal of collecting 1,000 pounds of food to help local senior citizens. Decorated boxes like this one can be found throughout PCH until Dec. 11 -- the last day of the drive. As this year's sponsor, staff from the dietary department at PCH, make the first donation above. From left are Ashley Myers, William Phillips and registered dietician Jamie Downen. All donations will be taken to the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry. Last year, the food drive collected more than 550 pounds of food.
