Central student earns top honors

Erich Erst, branch manager for American General Financial Services in Greencastle, stands with Central Elementary student Carl Elmore, who was the winner of American General's Thanksgiving coloring contest. Elmore's picture of pilgrims and Indians around a picnic table under a tree enjoying a Thanksgiving feast was one of 50 entries from the third grade classes at Central Elementary, Tzouanakis Intermediate and Fillmore Elementary schools. Elmore said his picture was inspired by a story he heard about pilgrims and Indians coming together for Thanksgiving.
