Putnam County Jail

Douglas Newkirk, 45, Cloverdale, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 10:34 p.m. Friday for public intoxication, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating per se.

Ben Reese, 24, Roachdale, was booked at 1:51 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Kate Robertson, 28, Coatesville, was booked at 4:59 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating per se and public intoxication.

Diana Randall, 45, Cloverdale, was booked at 4:26 p.m. Saturday for battery.

Shannon Thompson, 40, Greencastle, was booked at 6:06 p.m. Saturday for domestic battery and violating a restraining order.

Scott Snyder, 38, Darlington, was booked at 10:04 p.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Jon McArdle, 20, Greencastle, was booked at 1:36 a.m. Sunday for resisting law enforcement, public intoxication and possessing alcohol as a minor.

Timothy Perkins, 29, Indianapolis, was booked at 11:20 a.m. Monday for failure to appear.

Tyrone Goebel, 35, Greencastle, was booked at 4:48 p.m. Monday for theft.

Nichole Neal, 27, Greencastle, was booked at 10:08 p.m. Monday for resisting law enforcement, public intoxication and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Paul Gasiorowski, 30, Calabasas, Calif., was booked at 2:34 a.m. Tuesday for conspiracy and dealing in marijuana over 10 pounds.

Natalia Ortega, 23, Cerritos, Calif., was booked at 5:26 a.m. Tuesday for conspiracy and dealing in marijuana over 10 pounds.

Justin Delp, 21, Cloverdale, was booked at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday for receiving stolen property.

Michael Davis, 20, Cloverdale, was booked at 2:09 p.m. Tuesday for receiving stolen property and violation of home detention.

Tyler Kuras, 19, Cloverdale, was booked at 7:26 p.m. Tuesday for theft.

David McCaslin, 45, Avon, was booked at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday for dealing in a schedule drug within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance and violation probation.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Scott Storms of Muncie was making a left turn on the Interstate 70 ramp from US 231S at 4:07 a.m. Monday, when the back of his vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Douglas Sellers of Center Point.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Betsy Myers Tyler of Cloverdale was traveling east on Interstate 70 at 5:06 a.m. Monday, when she lost control of her vehicle due to road conditions and struck a guardrail.

Steele's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Michele Brown of Brazil was traveling on US 40W at 5:30 a.m. Monday, when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions. Her vehicle went over an embankment and struck a utility pole.

Seniour's Wrecker Service towed her vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

John Vermillion of Greencastle was waiting for a Fed Ex truck to cross Dunbar Covered Bridge on CR 25S at 4:32 p.m. Dec. 3, when the truck struck the bumper of Vermillion's vehicle.

There was less than $750 estimated in damages.

Angela Smith of Rockville was traveling on US 36 near Russellville at 8:22 p.m. Dec. 4, when she lost control of her vehicle.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages. Double D Wrecker Service towed her vehicle from the scene.

Greencastle Police Department

Brittany Girton of Greencastle was traveling east on Veteran's Memorial Highway at 5:24 p.m. Dec. 2, when a vehicle driven by Rena Alexander of Greencastle struck her vehicle. Alexander was stopped on Warren Drive and pulled into the path of Girton's vehicle.

Alexander was cited for not having motor vehicle insurance and Jerry's Wrecker Service towed her vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Tiffani Cox of Fillmore was stopped in traffic waiting to turn left onto Daggy Street from North Jackson Street at 5:59 p.m. Dec. 4, when a vehicle driven by Jordon Phillips of Greencastle struck the back of her vehicle.

Seniour's Wrecker Service towed Phillips' vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

T.W. Pope of Greencastle was traveling north on US 231 at 5:55 a.m. Monday, when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. His vehicle slid sideways into the southbound lane, striking a vehicle driven by Sarah Puskac of Portage.

Puskac suffered a facture or dislocation to the knee/lower leg/foot area and was transported by Operation Life, according to the accident report.

Zachariah Boulton, 24, Cloverdale, was stopped on US 240E and Tennessee Street at 4:20 p.m. Nov. 28 and cited for driving with a suspended license.

Shannon Stockhoff, 30, Cloverdale, was stopped on Bloomington Street at 11:50 a.m. Dec. 2 and cited for false registration and driving with a suspended license.

Wei Zheng, 36, Greencastle, was stopped on Bloomington Street at 9:50 p.m. Dec. 2 and cited for speeding -- 55 mph in a 30 mph zone.

James L. York, 33, Greencastle, was stopped on South Jackson Street at 3:54 p.m. Dec. 3 and cited for passing improperly on the left.

Melony Terry, 44, Greencastle was stopped on US 240E at 5:50 p.m. Dec. 4 and cited for expired license plate.

Norman Berry, 28, Clinton, was stopped on South Bloomington Street at 12:25 a.m. Sunday and cited for driving with a suspended license.

Mandy E. Cofer, 26, Brazil, was stopped on Indianapolis Road at 5:30 a.m. Monday and cited for expired registration plate, which was dated March 21.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 109 W. Hanna St. at 6:23 p.m. Sunday for an alarm due to a furnace. They were back in service at 6:32 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to ResCare, 1306 S. Bloomington St., at 11:46 p.m. Sunday for an alarm. No cause was found and they were back in service at 11:54 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at 5:57 a.m. Monday on Water Works Hill. They were back in service at 7:05 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1003 S. Locust St. at 6:10 p.m. Monday for a medical assist with Operation Life. They were back in service at 6:25 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 304 S. Indiana St. at 12:18 p.m. Tuesday for a fire alarm due to cooking. They were back in service at 12:27 p.m.
