Scorching the Lanes

The South Putnam High School swim teams hosted their annual Eagle relays during the winter sports festival Tuesday morning at South Putnam. The Eagles captured one win on the day in the 200 Breaststroke relay I, which Hilke Friesenborg (shown swimming the buterfly, middle) led the charge. Lyndsie Beasley (bottom) was part of that team as well. Eagle swimmer Darrick Grundlock (top) had a strong swim in the backstroke event. South Putnam coach Emile Coers said that this was a great race for the kids to take part in and helps break the everyday routine of practice.
