Donald B. Phelps

Donald B. Phelps, 62, of Greencastle died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010.

He was born in Martinsville on June 10, 1947, the son of Darius and Mildred Wilson Phelps.

Mr. Phelps was a truck driver for Humpreys Outdoor Equipment for 13 years, retiring in 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Short Phelps; daughters Angie Lane and husband Artis of Kentucky, Lana Shoemaker and husband Richi of Greencastle and Tanya Collier of Greencastle; Donald Phelps and wife Roxanne of Coatesville and Joseph Morgan and wife Shelly of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother Ronald Phelps and wife Angel of Cloverdale.

His parents, son Jeremy Phelps and brother Bobby Morgan preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
