Putnam County Champs

The North Putnam eighth grade boys team defeated South Putnam for the Putnam County title Wednesday. Members of the Cougars team include Beau Green, Garrett Plessinger, Shane Beaman, Bennett Hanzelgrove, Tyler Land, Grant Bryan, Kaleb Belcher, Coy Flynn, Conner Spencer, Dakoda Abney, Jordan Nauert, J. Pope and managers Justin Munns and Mason Asher. The team is coached by Rob Thompson and assistant coach Dave Nauert. Cheerleaders for North Putnam are Krista Lawhorn, Darion Polly, Lauren Sexton, Jennifer Upleger, Andi Foltz, Haley Thompson, Shelby Tiffany, Brayten Grimes, Audri Hess, Aubree Huber, Savannah Rambis, Elle Blanford, Morgan Sanford and Ashton Lucas.
