Zola Mae Jones

Zola Mae Jones, 78, of Newport passed away peacefully on Feb. 27, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her husband Murl; grandson Murl III; parents and five brothers.

She is survived by children, Deb (Jim) Culbertson, Paula (Dale) Otsby, Kurt (Julie), Murl (Janelle), Shelby (Rick) Justice, Sandy (John) Tucker and Todd (Tracie); 25 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Smiley, Barbara Black and Sharon Sheldon; also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Thursday. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at Roberts Funeral Home in Inver Grove Heights.

Interment is at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
