Putnam County Jail

Amber J. Mangus, 26, Bainbridge, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 6:02 p.m. Friday for neglect of a dependent.

Scott Pitchford, 42, Jamestown, was booked at 12:38 a.m. Saturday for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Angel R. Hamilton, 22, Muskegon, Mich., was booked at 9:52 p.m. Saturday for driving a vehicle with a suspended license.

Tiffany M. Baldwin, 22, Terre Haute, was booked at 10:19 p.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle with a controlled substance.

Howard H. Ritzert, 34, Decatur, Ill., was booked at 3:26 a.m. Sunday for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Carol D. McGaughey, 50, Lafayette, was booked at 10:51 a.m. Tuesday for petition to revoke probation.

Mark G. Albright, 25, Roachdale, was booked at 11:39 a.m. Tuesday for theft.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Sgt. Donald B. McCammack was traveling on US 36W at 9:05 p.m. Saturday when his vehicle struck a deer. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Patrick A. Harden of Lewis was traveling north on US 231S at 6:59 a.m. Thursday when his vehicle struck a deer. Steeles' Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene.

There was an estimated $2,501 t0 $5,000 in damages.

Shayla M. Brown of Poland was traveling on SR 42W near Cloverdale at 9:54 p.m. Friday, when she swerved to miss a dog in the road, lost control of her vehicle and ran off the road, striking several trees.

Steele's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

David E. Shafer of Greencastle was traveling south on US 231 near Greencastle at 2:18 p.m. Monday, when he attempted to avoid a stopped van in the southbound lane and a vehicle driven by Edward Mitchell of Cloverdale struck the back of his vehicle.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 1248 S. Jackson St. at 6:05 p.m. Thursday for a power line hitting against a residence and arcing. They were back in service at 6:35 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 309 Medic Way at 6:06 p.m. Friday for an alarm. They were disregarded en route.

Crews were dispatched to 313 Elm St. at 2:55 p.m. Saturday for an odor investigation. They were back in service at 4:02 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Autumn Glenn, 98 N. 10th St., at 9:26 p.m. Saturday for an alarm. They were back in service at 9:37 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 3510 S. US 231 at 2:20 p.m. Monday for a motor vehicle accident with minor injuries. They were back in service at 2:34 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Kroger, 821 Indianapolis Road, at 2:36 p.m. Monday for a medical assist with Operation Life. They were back in service at 2:56 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 600 Kirkwood Drive at 7:56 p.m. Monday, but were disregarded before leaving the station.

Crews were dispatched to 500 S. Jackson St. at 6:41 a.m. Tuesday for a fire alarm. They were back in service at 6:49 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 807 S. College Ave. at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday for an alarm. They were back in service at 9:56 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 311 S. Locust St. at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday for an alarm. They were back in service at 3:25 p.m.
