North Putnam picks up conference win

SPEEDWAY -- The North Putnam Cougars were able to avenge their loss to the Sparkplugs Monday, by shutting them down Tuesday 7-2.

Taylor Judy pitched another strong outing, going seven innings with 14 strikeouts, three hits, one walk and giving up two runs. She also was 3-for-4 at the plate with a double.

Dakota Malayer had a double and an RBI, while Elisiana Crosby was 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Lauren Green scored twice and had two RBIs.

Megan Robinson went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and an RBI, with Carlye McGaughey and Dakota Parent going 1-for-4 and an RBI.

The Cougars are 4-1 on the season and 3-1 in the conference.
