GMS falls to Cougars

The Greencastle Middle School softball team fell to North Putnam Monday 10-8.

Madi Fauvergue pitched seven innings, with 11 strikeouts for the Tiger Cubs. She was also 1-for-3 at the plate with an RBI and run scored.

Danielle Thomas had two hits, two RBIs, a walk and a run scored, while Kalah Reed was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. Shelby Earl scored two runs and walked twice, with Kenlee Johnson recording a hit, a walk and an RBI. Mackenzie Myers and Riley Wilson scored a run and had a walk each and Paige Bragg was hit by a pitch and scored a run.
