Kappa Delta Phi style show April 30

Friday, April 16, 2010

Kappa Delta Phi sorority will host a style show on April 30 at 7 p.m. at the Greencastle Christian Church.

The show, titled "A Fashion Statement from the Banks," will feature fashions from Christopher Banks and C.J. Banks, located at Metropolis in Plainfield. Tickets for the style show are $8 and include refreshments and door prizes. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling 653-3673.

Kappa Delta Phi is dedicated to charitable and civic service in the local community. In keeping with the sorority's national motto, "Kids Depend on People," members of the local chapter concentrate their volunteer service and charitable support to programs that provide volunteer hours for Coats for Kids, The Reality Store and Sidewalk Chalk Bash.

Annually, the members provide charitable support for deserving families at Christmas, Giving Tree, community food pantries, Away Home Shelter, Relay for Life, Putnam County Library, Family Night Out and 4-H awards at the Putnam County Fair.

The proceeds from the style show will also be used to assist Putnam County children with special needs and families in crisis.
