  • Too bad we can't have a school board that is elected by the people like other school districts!

  • hmmm.... taking applications. Sure wish parents had a say so in who got on the board by way of a VOTE. Let applicants run against each other, and let the people choose. Wait, that sounds familiar....democracy maybe? NAH.

  • How much does this position pay and what are the perks?

  • If we could vote in the people on the GCSC school board, there would only be one person that currently sits on the board that would get voted in, and her name shall remain out of my posting...

Nonetheless, it's a popularity contest. Unforunately, some of the members are borderline corrupt and throw their power around to get their way. It's frustrating. I have spoken my opinion, so it's your turn, other GCSC parents, to demand that we get a say in this and we get to vote who makes decisions that shape the lives of our children.
