Cougars take down Monrovia 4-3

The North Putnam softball team defeated Monrovia 4-3 Monday on the road.

The Cougars trailed 3-1 going into the seventh inning and put together a three-run inning to come away with the win.

Taylor Judy was the winning pitcher, going seven innings with three hits, seven strikeouts and one walk.

At the plate, Elsiana Crosby was 2-for-3 and Dakota Malayer had a double and an RBI. Lauren Green and Dakota Parent added a single each.
