Putnam County Jail

Nikki R. Allen, 38, Cloverdale, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 6:30 p.m. Monday for violation of probation.

Kenneth Byrd, 43, Brazil, was booked at 10:21 a.m. Tuesday for violation of probation.

Kerry D. Collins, 48, Greencastle, was booked at 1:53 p.m. Monday for violation of probation.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Christine L. Broad of Greencastle was westbound on SR 240 near Fillmore at 5:44 p.m. May 6, when she attempted to cross SR 75 her vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a vehicle operated by Ryan S. Johnson of Cloverdale. The impact caused Broad's vehicle to collide with a vehicle operated by Mark A. Snow of Fillmore.

Seniours Wrecker Service towed Broad and Johnson's vehicles from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Thomas E. James of Fishers was traveling on US 36W near Bainbridge at 6:18 a.m. Saturday, when his vehicle struck a deer. Kenny's Wrecker Service towed his vehicle. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 313 E. Hanna St. at 1:23 p.m. Wednesday for an active alarm. They were disregarded en route by DePauw University and back in service at 1:29 p.m.
