Putnam County Jail

Clay J. Berry, 19, no city listed, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 12:15 a.m. Friday for theft.

Joshua K. Cook, 21, Indianapolis, was booked at 1:20 p.m. Thursday for violation of probation.

Chris S. Dean, 39, Brazil, was booked at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Benjamin D. Robinson, 21, Bloomington, was booked at 9:30 a.m. Thursday for violation of probation.

Eric D. Rogers, 39, Greencastle, was booked at 2:41 a.m. Thursday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

William Thompson, 21, no city listed, was booked at 8 p.m. Thursday for violation of probation.

Bryan M. White, 34, Mooresville, was booked at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday for violation of home detention.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Gretta S. Vanzo of Rosedale was traveling north on CR 445W near Greencastle on 10:29 p.m. Thursday, when a vehicle operated by Sandra J. Buehler of Greencastle traveling south struck her vehicle.

Seniours Wrecker Service towed Vanzo's vehicle. Buehler's vehicle was also towed from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Seth Jonte of Cloverdale was traveling east on CR 100S at 7:51 p.m. Thursday, when his vehicle struck a concrete culvert at the edge of a residential driveway and a mailbox.

His vehicle was towed from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Patrick Labhart of Greencastle was backing out of the parking lot at Neal Tire, N. Jackson Street, at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, when his vehicle struck a pole. There was minimal damage to Labhart's vehicle.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 303 S. Locust St. at 10:36 a.m. Thursday for a fire alarm, but nothing was found. They were back in service at 10:55 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 446 Anderson St. at 7:36 p.m. Thursday, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 7:37 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 311 S. Locust St. at 11:52 p.m. Thursday for an alarm. They were back in service at 12:04 a.m. Friday.

Crews were dispatched to 807 S. College Ave. at 4:28 a.m. Friday for an alarm. They were disregarded en route and back in service at 4:30 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 E. Olive St. at 10:50 a.m. Friday for an alarm. They were back in service at 11:01 a.m.
