Mary Jane "Pat" Wilson, 83, was called to the Lord Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from her home in Greencastle where she lived since 1980.

She was born on July 6, 1926 in Crawfordsville to Hiram and Una Mae Hensley Hughes. She married Jack Lloyd Wilson on April 18, 1944, who preceded her in death on May 4, 1999.

She was a devoted stay-at-home wife and mother for much of her life. After her children were grown, she worked many years as a teacher's aide and hospital secretary. After moving to Greencastle, she worked as a ward secretary at Putnam County Hospital for 28 years until her retirement in 2009. She was also an active parishioner at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughter Michele; sons Michael, Eric and wife Jayne, Reid and Jerry and wife Debbie; granddaughter Bernadette Wilson Conley and husband the Rev. Kevin Conley; three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Tristen and Zachary; her oldest sister Ethel Patterson of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Stephen Jarrell presiding.

Memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor St. Augustine Home for the Aged, 2345 W. 86th St. Indianapolis, IN 46260.
