Riding for a Cause

Wednesday, June 9, 2010
Riders from The Illini 4000 stopped in Greencastle Monday afternoon to take a break from a cross-country bike ride. The Illini 4000 is a non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against cancer, the support of those affected by cancer, and the documentation of how cancer impacts the lives of Americans. Through annual cross-country bike rides, they reach out to new communities and new individuals each year, spreading the messages of hope and awareness. Pictured at Chief's restaurant in downtown Greencastle are, from left, Gabrielle Fairbairn, Bridget Hapner, Jaime Kelleher, Jillian Podgorski, Tracey Schafer, Ana Rynecki and Diana Luo. More information about The Illini 4000 can be found online at www.iilini4000.org.
