Tyler James "TA" Adams, 16, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010.

He was born on Aug. 14, 1993 in Greencastle to Jody E. Adams and Debbie L. York Adams.

Tyler had completed his sophomore year at South Putnam High School, working towards an honors diploma, and planned on attending Purdue University. TA had worked at Legan's Livestock and Grain in Fillmore for the past few years.

Surviving are his mother Debbie Adams; father Jody Adams; sister Courtney Adams; brother Trey Adams; maternal grandparents Sharon and Jim York; paternal grandmother Roselin Rhodes; paternal grandfather Les Adams; paternal great-grandmother Mardell Tipsword; paternal great-grandfather Delbert Emmons; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Kate and Leamon Littrell, Donald and Olive York and Freeman and Ruby Adams.

A celebration of Tyler's life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Nathan Couch officiating. Burial will follow at Little Walnut Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

TA enjoyed playing the guitar, 4-wheeling and was never without his texting communicator. He especially enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

Tyler's favorite saying was, "It's all Good, I got Msockasins On".
