Heritage Lake burglar guilty again

GREENCASTLE -- Curtis Cash, 41, pled guilty to a second burglary as his second jury trial began in Putnam Circuit Court.

Cash was found guilty of burglary by a Putnam County jury on April 14, 2010. He received a 27 year prison sentence on the case.

"Mr. Cash pled guilty while 50 prospective jurors were in the courtroom awaiting the start of his jury trial. I made no offer and he had the choice of a jury trial or the plead guilty to the judge," said Prosecutor Tim Bookwalter.

Judge Headley then sentenced Cash to an additional sentence of twelve years for a total sentence of 39 years.

"Unfortunately, Mr. Cash is one of those persons that cannot be rehabilitated so the only thing that we can do to protect society is to lock him up as long as possible," said Bookwalter.

A big THANK YOU goes out to JUDGE HEADLEY, and PROSECUTOR TIM BOOKWALTER for getting another creep off of our streets and protecting our society from creeps like this.....PLEASE KEEP THESE STIFF SENTENCES, SO MAYBE ALL THE OTHER CREEPS IN OUR SURROUNDING TOWNS WILL GET OUT OF HERE AND FIND SOME WHERE ELSE TO THIEVE...

Did this men kill some one 39 years for burglary

is there some thing i miss did he have a gun beat some up some one I can understand some one being upset that they where burglaries Put that got to be a 6 months senence at least And a note to takeastand better not run a green light Tim and Matt might just put you away for maybe 39 years
