CLOVERDALE -- Know someone who has made a positive difference in the Cloverdale community?

Nominate them for the Cloverdale Civic award.

The Cloverdale Lions Club, sponsors of the award, have seen the need to recognize residents who donate much of their time or money to help the town be a special place to live. The Lions Club is seeking help from residents to determine who deserves the honor this year.

Past winners include Bob Hostetter, Jeff Rich, Bill Henson, Adeline Knoy, Vera Hughes, Eric Hayman, Wayne Sutherlin, Judy Whitaker, Keith Ernst and Don Walton, just to name a few.

Nominations for the 2010 Cloverdale Civic Award are now open and will be accepted until noon Aug. 15. Use a form or plain sheet of paper stating the nominee's name, address and a reason for the nomination.

Nominations can be mailed to: Todd Lewis, care of Cloverdale Lions Club, 75 Anna St., Cloverdale, IN 46120 or turn it in at any First National Bank branch in Putnam County.
