New name, new look
DANVILLE -- PHI Air Medical, the helicopter provider at Hendricks Regional Health, recently announced an updated agreement with St. Vincent Health that creates a new critical care transport brand called St. Vincent StatFlight. The name, St. Vincent StatFlight, will apply to four air ambulances based in Anderson, North Vernon, West Lafayette and Danville.
Along with a new name for the helicopter fleet comes an innovative green and blue paint scheme that was rolled out this week on the chopper at Hendricks Regional Health.
St. Vincent StatFlight employs industry leading safety initiatives like Night Vision Goggles (NVG), Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS) and radar altimeters on all of its helicopters, emphasizing the premier importance of safe and rapid patient transport. PHI Air Medical was the first operation of its size to equip all of its air medical aircraft with NVG technology.
