Fiesta Time

Ridpath Primary School recently celebrated the start of the new school year with a fiesta event. Students enjoyed eating Mexican-style fried ice cream, quesadillas and mangos. Other activities included class raffles, storytelling, the Mexican Hat Dance, games, and art projects. The night concluded with teachers helping principal Tamra Walker break a confetti-filled piņata. The fiesta was made possible by Ridpath teachers and staff, PTO, International Affairs (DPU), Casa Grande and Wal-Mart. Decorations were donated by Greencastle Christian Church.
