Day full of dolls

Mariette Bargen shows a doll from her childhood at the American Girls Go Victorian event at the Putnam County Public Library (PCPL) Saturday. Rajean Gallagher, the PCPL program coordinator said the American Girls group meets every three months. The next meeting will be in December. "The nice thing about the American Girl dolls is that they're historically based," Gallagher said. "We do allow all kinds of dolls, though. No doll is excluded. "We always try and have some arts and crafts, something to do with your hands, too," Gallagher said.
