Attempted robbery at Clark station

GREENCASTLE-- A would-be robber attempted to hold up the Clark station on Washington St. in Greencastle between 7 and 8 p.m. Friday evening.

While the Greencastle Police Department is releasing few details at this time, GPD Chief Tom Sutherlin confirmed it was a male subject wearing all black clothing, including a black hooded sweatshirt, who attempted to rob the station. No cash was taken.

The suspect left the store heading south and remained at large as of print.

  • This is crazy. I remember growing up carefree when not a lot was happening, or maybe I just didn't hear about it. That was a block away from me, I can literally see the clark station from my house. Makes me worried for all the kids I see running around the neighborhood.
