  • Guess Im confused. In my hometown they use the Pulblic Work crews on their normal work hours to maintain the lights with the Public Works bucket truck...no contracting.

Of course the county and city own their own paving equip and tar / chip euip too. They use a combined county / city crew to maintain all the roads in the county including the city...no contracting and no gravel roads. The quality is suberb as well since its all local folk that drive the roads themselves and have to live with the public too.

  • Why are we paying for new lights and contractors taking local jobs? What was wrong with the other lights?
