Helen Overton

Helen B. (Hammond) Overton, a loving mother and grandmother, entered into eternal life on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at 3 p.m.

Helen was born in Greencastle to John Raymond and Ruth Blue Hammond on April 25, 1930.

She is survived by her three children, Janet (Manzo), Jeff and Elaine; her son-in-law Albert Manzo and daughter-in-law Camie; as well as grandchildren Matthias, Marcia, Mario and Alexandra; granddaughter-in-law Tracy Manzo and great-grandchild Nicholas.

Helen had a large extended family with 16 brothers and sisters, and is also survived by sisters Mary (New), Betty (Warfield), Peggy (Girton), Nancy (Fogle) and Cathy (Cawley) and by brothers Bill and Eddie.

Helen was a 1948 graduate of Reelsville High School. She moved to Tucson, Ariz. in 1988.

A rosary and visitation took place Monday at Bring Funeral Home in Tucson. A funeral mass was held Monday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Tucson.
