Sectional fever heats up

Banner Graphic/JARED JERNAGAN Parents, students and fans from North Putnam and Greencastle spent the week getting ready for sectional semifinals on Friday night. North Putnam parents marked the path from the stoplight in Bainbridge to the entrance of the football field with Cougar tracks as well as signs. Above, North Putnam parents Jodi Judy and Tara Angermeier place a sign next to the road on CR 200E north of Bainbridge. The Cougars and the Tiger Cubs won on Friday. Greencastle will visit North Putnam for the Sectional 30 championship at 7 p.m. Friday.

  • I got the Cougers by +20 in this game! The Cougers will proberly beat them 49-13. Good night Tiger Cubs it was a great season!

  • i too feel that north will probably win big. but gcastles defense is pretty good. we will find out how good this friday. i sure hope it is good and i would love too see gcastle pull the biggest upseet in school history. go tiger cubs! go tigers den!
