Letter to the Editor

Customer's behavior was inexcusable

Friday, November 5, 2010

Editor's note: This letter was written in response to a Speak Out item detailing an incident in which a customer at the Greencastle McDonald's became irate and threw food at a restaurant manager.

To the Editor:

I was reading the paper Thursday, the "Speak Out" column.

It seems a customer showed their intelligence at McDonald's.

What is your problem? The manager offered to make the food you ordered right, plus give you a whole refund. What else do you want from McDonald's?

These people go through a lot of stress every day, and they don't deserve you doing this act.

It's obvious you have never worked at a fast food restaurant. Maybe you should try it. I have worked at all phases, so I know what's expected of them.

Your day will come when you can't get served anywhere. I happen to know the manager that you did this to. She tried to make things right.

Maybe if you had the guts, you should make this right with her.

God is watching you.
