GREENCASTLE -- On Dec. 12, Autumn Glen Assisted Living will host a Christmas home tour to display the units there.

Autumn Glen has a variety of locations at both their main building and in their village.

"We'd like to welcome everybody to come out and visit with us and have an opportunity to come out and see our home," said Deb Snow with Autumn Glen.

The tour will also serve as a fundraiser for Toys for Tots, with donations accepted at each location for the charity.

"We'd like everyone to have an opportunity to donate to Toys for Tots," Snow said. "We like to help the children."

Refreshments will be provided at the main residence. There will also be entertainment.

"We're going to have the Covered Bridge Country Chorus singing," Snow said. "They're going to be performing throughout the village with Christmas caroling. They'll also be performing in the main residence. Enchanted Evenings will also be on hand to give free carriage rides.

Snow said the timing of the tour was important -- Autumn Glen didn't want to compete with the Holiday Home Tour done by Delta Theta Tau every year.

She said this tour was a chance for people to see what their organization had to offer.

"The purpose of the tour is to give the public a chance to see our garden homes and our villas," Snow said.

Snow said that the company is able to provide their wellness assistance programs to their condos and villas from the main residence.

The home tour will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Autumn Glen's main office is at 98 N. 10th Street. The home tour is from 431 Glenview Lane to 473 Harvest Moon Drive and 459 harvest moon Drive to 505 Elm Leaf Drive.
