Charles Hall Jr.

Charles C. "Bud" Hall Jr., 75, of Greencastle passed away on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011.

He was born on Jan. 15, 1936 in Indianapolis to Charles C. Hall, Sr. and Ada Brown Hall.

Mr. Hall was a member of Greencastle Christian Church and the N.R.A. He retired from Allison Transmissions in Indianapolis.

Charlie was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed cars. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gail Liebert, and a son Alan Brock.

Surviving are his wife, Jackie whom he married on April 6, 1979; children, Clinton Hall of Greencastle, Patsy Chapman and husband, Scott of Manhattan, Kansas, Lori Young and husband, Dan of Brazil, Dave Hall and wife, Linda of Greencastle, Laura Eastham of Greencastle, Jenny Lowe and husband, Sonny of Greencastle, and Wes Trout of Kentucky; 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and his beloved dogs, Pete and Pepper.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Miller officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 p.m. until time of services.

Memorials in Charlie's name may be made to the American Heart Association; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
