Doreen M. Braden

Doreen M. Braden, 82, Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011.

She was born on Jan. 16, 1929 in Reno, Ind. to Edward F. Rossok Jr. and V. Pearl Johnson Rossok.

Mrs. Braden was a graduate of Greencastle High School and Indiana Central Business College. She retired from First Citizens Bank in 1988, where she was a trust officer and vice president of the trust department and had previously worked as a legal secretary in Indianapolis. She was a longtime member of the Putnam County Hospital Guild; B.P.W., having held various offices, and had served as Putnam County chairperson of the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Braden was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gaylord Rossok and Evan Rossok; two sisters, Murlin Handy and Carol Burk; and her children's father, Howard W. Braden.

Surviving are her children, Judy Watson and husband Steve of Indianapolis, Carolyn Ruark of Indianapolis and Donna Gregory and husband Ron of Florida; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services and burial will be private.
