Greencastle Police Department

* Feb. 11, 7:50 a.m.: Mark Sadler, 31, Fillmore, was southbound on Fawn View Ln. trying to turn left onto Deer Field Dr. in a 1995 Dodge ram. He was trying to beat a northbound vehicle and turned in front of it, cutting the corner and the center of the road, hitting the front left bumper and quarter of the 2011 Toyota Sienna driven by Michael Seaman, 45, Greencastle. Seaman was stopped facing westbound on Deer Field Dr. waiting for traffic to clear.

Seaman's vehicle towed by Jerry's. Damage $5,001-$10,000.

* Feb. 12, 11:08 a.m.: Larry Clodfelter, 61, Greencastle, driving a 2001 Ford, was stopped in traffic on Washington St. for a funeral procession leaving Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home when he was struck in the rear by John Skirvin, 39, Cloverdale, in a 1998 Ford. Skirvin advised he could not stop in time and could not avoid Clodfelter's vehicle.

Skirvin's vehicle towed by Jerry's. Damage $2,501-$5,000.

The following tickets have been issued:

Feb. 10, 3:02 a.m., SR 240: Brock Modesitt, 20, Brazil, expired registration plate.

Feb. 15, 10:15 p.m., Washington and Jackons streets: Elizabeth Thornburgh, 25, Danville, driving while suspended.
