Guffey finishes 11th in state

INDIANAPOLIS -- Greencastle High School senior Jay Guffey swam a 21.70 in the 50 freestyle at Saturday's IHSAA State Finals to finish 11th in the state.

Guffey came into Saturday seeded 13th, after being 15th coming into Friday's preliminaries.

His third place finish in the consolation heat was less than three tenths of a second from the lead.
