Thelma Kay Keyt, 68, Bainbridge passed away Saturday, April 2, at Mill Pond Health Center in Greencastle. She was born Jan. 6, 1943 in Bainbridge to Maurice Gibbs and Delores "Nancy" Gibbs Berry.

She attended Bainbridge High School. She retired in 2009 from Lithonia Lighting in Crawfordsville. She also worked at P.R. Mallory's in Greencastle. She was a member of the Bainbridge Christian Church.

She married Larry Keyt in 1969 and he survives. Also surviving are her daughter Tamera Gatlin of Bainbridge; two brothers, David "Bonnie" Gibbs of Bainbridge and Danny "Debbie" Gibbs of Ladoga; sister Nina "Ray" Boller of Bainbridge; five step-children, Tim, Russ and Christy Keyt of Brazil, Tony of Bloomington and Jamie Doub of Danville; step-sister, Virginia Washburn of Terre Haute; two sister-in-laws, Debra "Bill" Perkins, Roachdale and Jeannie Sommers, Knightsville, four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren. She also touched the lives of many who called her Mom, Grandma Kay and Sister.

She is preceeded in death by her parents, son Travis, and step-sister Patsy King.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Bainbridge Community Building on Pat Rady Way. Friends may call at the Servies & Morgan Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
