Martha Jo McGaughey

Martha Jo McGaughey, 81, of Russellville died Monday, April 11, 2011 at Hendricks Regional Health at Danville.

She was born Feb. 19, 1930 to Lawrence and Hazel Adamson Dukes in Crawfordsville.

She married Edgar McGaughey on Nov. 26, 1950 at Crawfordsville and he died in 1995.

She graduated from Crawfordsville High School and was a member of Russellville Community Church, where she served as choir director for many years. She was also a member of Rustlers Home economics club, and a homemaker.

Survivors include son Dale McGaughey of Russellville and grandsons Brandon and Brent McGaughey of Russellville.

She was preceded in death by son Bradley, three brothers, two sisters and her parents.

Services are Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Russellville Community church with Reverends James and Kathy Elliott officiating. Friends may call at the church Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery at Russellville.
