'The Last Supper' comes to Roachdale Presbyterian

The men of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church will present "The Last Supper" at 7 p.m. Thursday in the church sanctuary at 14 N. Indiana St. The presentation will include a live tableau and narration concerning the last meal that Jesus ate with his disciples in the Upper Room. Leonardo DaVinci painted the Last Supper mural on the wall of the dining hall at the monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, Italy in 1498. The painting depicts the reactions of the disciples immediately after Jesus tells them that one of them will betray him. Communion will be served to the audience as part of the Last Supper experience.
