Clovers disarm Patriots

CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale Middle School girls' track team defeated Owen Valley 58-47 to move to 3-1 on the season.

Picking up wins for the Clovers were Bailee Stevens in the 1,600-meter run, Ashley Nees in the 800-meter run, Sylvia Tiedemann in the 400-meter dash, Laura Worthington in the discus and Alexis Branneman in the high jump.

The team of Worthington, Riley Canfield, Stevens and Harley Manion won the 3,200-meter relay. Cloverdale also won the 1,600-meter relay.

Payton Dorsett was second in the 100-meter hurdles, with Lindsay Davis placing third. Kimmy Winders was second in the 100-meter dash, with Anna Spencer placing third. Riley Canfield was second and Sadie McKinney third in the 1,600-meter run.

Raeanna McFadden was second in the 400-meter dash, while Worthington was second in the 800-meter run and Harley Manion was third. Winders placed third in the 200-meter dash, Dorsett was third in the high jump and Harley Fuetter was third in the long jump.
