The Cougar Middle School coed track team fell once again with the meet being decided on the final relay. The Cougars fell to North Ridge 55.5-53.5, with South Putnam finishing third with a 49 and Eminence fourth with 38.

Top performers for the Cougars were Tucker Lowe winning the 110-meter hurdles and Jenson Conlen winning the shot put. Trebor Mason was second in the 2,400-meter run, Aaron Wesley was second in the 100-meter dash and Jensen Conlin was second in the discus. The team of Mason Wesley, Lowe and Nick Bishop teamed up to win the 400-meter relay.

"There were actually four opponents tonight with the weather being the toughest of those opponents," Cougar head coach Tony Gray said. "Tonight became more about survival than setting personal bests. I was proud of our toughness, we didn't let the weather beat us. I played with the lineup tonight trying some people in new events and we responded well."
