Elnora J. Walton

Mrs. Elnora Jean Walton, 78, of Greencas-tle, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Putnam County Hospital.

Born Dec. 10, 1932, in Stilesville, she was the daughter of Preston and Flossie (Hanlon) Walters. She was a graduate of Stilesville High School class of 1950 and married Audrey K. Walton on Aug. 6, 1950 and he survives.

Elnora had been a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church and Tri Kappa, Greencastle.

Survivors include her husband, Audrey; a daughter, Julie (Mark) Carr of Greencastle; four grandchildren, Byron Holley, Samantha Holley, Makenzie Carr, and Keith Carr; a great grandchild, Kamrin Holley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sherrie Holley; and a brother, Charles Walters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy McNeely officiating, with interment to follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
