County Champs

The Greencastle junior varsity baseball team won the Putnam County Championship recently at South Putnam. The Tiger Cubs got their day started by defeating North Putnam 13-9 in game one. Greencastle faced Cloverdale in the championship game and came away victorious by a score of 14-9. Members of the winning Greencastle squad include Nick Gilliam, Caleb Robinson, Brett Gierke, Seth Brown, Tyler Scott, Alec Pettit, Holden King, Cole Bridgewater, Nick Tharp, Cole Pohlar, Brant Mangrum, Cody Mundy, Jacob Steinmetz, Evan Coble and coaches Travis Nicholson, Josh King and Doug Nally.
